16 weeks ago my wife went OHS with Dr. Perry. I can’t say enough good things about him and the team during this challenging experience. I would like to mention my father was a surgeon for 35 years, he taught surgery and over saw surgery centers. Dr. Perry is the guy you want for this. He was confident, caring, communicative, direct (when we need to heart what had to be said even though we didn’t want to heart it) and at no time did we not have full confidence in his ability of that of his team at French Hospital. I can’t express that enough- as a spouse you really want to feel like you are in the best hands possible and he exceeded in doing that. Post surgery he was on top of everything and when he could tell I was upset from the stress he came to see me in person and looked me in the eye reassuringly. Frankly, he cares about what he does and the people he’s helping. Follow ups were great, the post surgery team at French was beyond incredible. And basically everything went as expected (Note: there can be some slight variances in recovery and it’s just how it goes). Overall I can’t say enough how great he-they are. If you are worried going into OHS (which is normal) you should meet with Dr. Perry and choose him as your surgeon. You won’t regret it at all.

Dr. Freyaldenhoven saved my life after a heart attack. Quadruple heart bypasses and corroded artery clean out and I’m on the mend. Thank you to all the staff and CCU at Marian Medical Center.

Dr. Perry replaced my Arotic and Mitral valve. He performed an excellent surgery and I have recovery from the surgery faster than I thought I would. Back to the gym after three months.
I was very nervous to have this surgery but he was reassuring and made me feel at ease. He came to check on me almost everyday after the procedure (9 days) .

Dr. Freyaldenhoven was my heart surgeon for an emergency procedure. My wife, a cardiac nurse was very relieved when he walked into my ER room at 1:00 in the morning. She had a lot of prior experience with his patients and their positive outcomes. Later when I needed a follow-up procedure he was the first Doctor I consulted because of his skill and my after excellent post operative care

Dr Perry saved my life. He did a successful triple bypass with a new mechanical valve. He had to reconstruct the root of my valve to get the valve to fit. Prior to surgery I had a cardiologist who blew me off for 3-4 years so the surgery should have been done a couple years sooner. I appreciate being saved after years of such bad care – I was lucky to get such a competent surgeon

Luke Faber was recommended to me by Kishor Popat. Luke did both my carotid arteries in 2011 and the person who checked my carotids told me that Luke Faber did the best job of any surgeon and there were no problems with anyone he had ever checked the Luke Faber had done their carotid arteries. He doesn’t know it but I interviewed him while he was asking me questions I feel he is a quality individual a very high standards I would recommend him to anyone I know and want to thank him because I would not be here today if it was not for his handiwork. Dr. Paul Perry performed my Bypass and Aortic Valve surgery at French Hospital in San Luis Obispo. I had 5 blocked arteries and aortic stenosis. Dr. Perry explained the surgery to me before and I felt confident and secure going in. After the surgery, he visited me daily in the hospital with a smile and handshake. Most surgeons don’t have a bedside manner like that. He is also great to deal with after when you go for a follow-up. His staff is pleasant and I was able to get appointments as needed. He did a great job saving my life and a beautiful job on the incisions on my chest and leg. The surgery was a success and I feel great. Thank you

Dr Perry performed open heart surgery on my husband, a valve replacement and an aortic graft for an aneurysm. Everything he told us to expect was as he said, and the surgery was a success. He is a very good communicator, a very skilled experienced sugeon, and a very nice person. We are extremely lucky to have a heart surgeon as good as he is on the Central Coast. Four and a half months post surgery and my husband is doing very well, almost like it didn’t happen. Thank you Dr. Perry.

My mother had a quadruple bypass at Mariam Hospital. Dr. Freyaldenhoven gave us a lot of confidence from the beginning to the end. The surgery was, of course, successful. We were impressed.

(Dr. Freyladenhoven) He was so great at explaining, in great detail, exactly how my surgery was going to go, what was involved, how I would feel, etc. He was polite, kind and reassuring during a very difficult time for me. He took time to answer any and all questions every step of the way. His surgical sites are healing and he did a great job of minimizing scarring.
